Innovating Advanced Materials for the Future

The Oxford Advanced Materials Network (OxAMN) is an interdisciplinary initiative at the University of Oxford that brings together Oxford’s researchers to address critical challenges in advanced materials design and sustainable manufacturing for next-generation technologies.

OxAMN fosters innovation across various fields, including energy systems, medical devices, lightweight composites, autonomous vehicles, and smart materials, etc. OxAMN integrates multiple disciplines and methodologies: experimental research, high-speed computing, rational modelling, and industry collaboration.

This integrated approach enables the design of materials across different length scales, with a focus on end-user applications. By combining diverse perspectives and expertise, OxAMN aims to develop cutting-edge materials solutions more rapidly and effectively, addressing key societal challenges.

By joining the Oxford Advanced Materials Network, researchers and industry partners can contribute to and benefit from this collaborative ecosystem, working together to accelerate the development of innovative materials solutions for a wide range of applications.
